Water feature kits can be used in conjunction with one another. In fact, oftentimes the best overall water features include many different components.

Yes, some settings are best with just a waterfall, just a stream, just a fountain, or just a pond, etc., but think of how impressive a feature that includes two or more of those components can be.

If you have the garden for it, a stream that leads to a waterfall that leads into a pond, for instance, can be a most beautiful addition. Of course, realize that, if possible, it is best to use the same liner for these features. That way, you do not have to worry about seams.

Even adding a spitter to pond can create an enchanting effect, in terms of both sight and sound. When you think of how to create your water features, do not think only in terms of sight! Be sure to consider the sounds you want to hear, as well.

At the bottom of your waterfall, a hollowed spot surrounded by jutting rocks can create an excellent (and slightly louder sound).
