You
need not add a complicated waterfall or fountain to your garden pond
to create a beautiful water effect. Rather, you can add a pond
spitter.
The beauty of a pond spitter (besides its aesthetic
beauty, of course) is that it tends to be less expensive, easier to
set up, and use less energy than its waterfall and fountain counterparts.
Although all three types of water features require a
pond pump for the water effect, a pond spitter generally only requires
a small pond pump, and therefore requires less energy.
To add pond spitters to your pondscape, you need not
rearrange any of your gardenscape as you would have to include a waterfall.
In fact, a spitter is almost as easy to set up as a statue is.
Besides being visually appealing, pond spitters will also appeal
to your sense of sound. The sound of water trickling and gurgling
in your pond can lead to a sense of tranquility and overall calmness.
Pond spitters are a classic way to dress up your pond and to add
a bit of interest. Here at Pond Depot, we have some very beautiful
pond spitters available. We also have some very whimsical ones. Because
the water generally comes out of the mouth of a human, animal, or
other creature, pond spitters are often much more whimsical than other
water features. They can really add a lot of character to a garden.
